Biggest Loser Challenge

I created this blog to track my progress in a Biggest Loser Challenge. I plan to keep it up as a general training log when I’m training for something, as well as a weight management tool to help me live a healthier life. The challenge started today and goes through the end of the year. My goal is to lose 10 pounds. Today I weighed in at 133.2. I’m frustrated with myself because about a year ago I set a goal to lose 10 pounds, and here I am at that very same weight. I was thinking of finally giving in and paying to do weight watchers to have some outside motivation, but then heard about this challenge and I think it will be perfect for me. We have to weigh in monthly, but I will probably do it weekly. I’ll post later a little more about myself, but wanted to get this blog started.

August 31, 2009 - 5:16 pm Karilynn - HI EMILY!! It's great to have you in this comp. I hope that it is just the support and motivation you need to be successful in your goals. If you are interested in doing Weight Watchers without paying for it, Melissa has some great links on her blog. There are also a couple of gals in the comp who have done weight watchers in the past and/or are currently doing it! Lorie is a big weight watchers gal and I know Elise has the whole program and is currently trying to do it without paying for it! Melissa lost a ton of weight with weight watchers last year so I'm sure she will have some great ideas for you. GOOD LUCK!!
